When to use Urgent Consultation (not the ER)

Urgent-but-not-emergency dental issues that can be managed via video:

• Chipped or broken tooth with sharp edges or sensitivity.

What happens on the video call

A licensed dentist in your state joins the call within 15-60 minutes. You show them the affected area through your phone camera or webcam. They ask questions, evaluate symptoms, and give you a clinical assessment. Where appropriate, they can e-prescribe antibiotics or pain medication to a pharmacy near you. They provide clear next-step guidance — in-person care tomorrow, self-management until your regular dentist opens, or emergency escalation if something serious is identified.
