DentalPlanRx is honest about this — we're not claiming telehealth can do what it can't.

DentalPlanRx partner clinics sign a participation agreement that commits them to published cash-pay pricing, a no-upsell policy for member visits, and acceptance of a two-way accountability system.
Every partner clinic publishes cash-pay prices for common procedures on the DentalPlanRx directory. You see the price before you book. You see it again in writing before the appointment. No hidden fees, no "comprehensive exam" add-ons, no quiet markup.
Partner clinics agree that DentalPlanRx members will be seen for the specific procedure identified in their virtual consultation or Second Opinion. Additional procedures cannot be recommended during the visit — if the clinic identifies a new issue, they flag it for a separate virtual follow-up, not an in-chair upsell.
We don't charge partner clinics any referral fees, per-patient fees, or monthly directory subscription fees. Partner clinics participate because they value the patient flow — people who come pre-diagnosed with known need and known willingness to pay cash.
Why this matters: if DentalPlanRx charged clinics a fee, those fees would get passed back to you in inflated prices. By structuring the relationship so partners gain only through patient volume, we keep your costs low and remove the conflict of interest that referral fees create.
After every visit, members rate their experience. Ratings are visible to other members in the directory. Clinics that repeatedly violate the participation agreement — charging above published prices, upselling to members, or receiving multiple valid complaints — go through a three-strikes process. First strike: written warning. Second strike: removal from new-member-facing directory. Third strike: public removal from the network, with a brief explanation.
